Comments: This page is excellent, and your club too. I own a 55´ chevy coupe, special edition. This car was a gift that president Dwight. D. Eisenhower gave to the president of Colombia in 1955 (Presidente Gustavo Rojas Pinilla). This car is wider than tradicional 55´chevys. The engine and all the parts are originals... I love my car, and I like all the classic chevys. I´d like to know more about your club. My e-mails adress is above. THANK YOU!

Comments: I`M restoring a 56 ragtop it`s got fresh paint & totally re done under carriage it`s got what you choose to call total FRAME off.I\ve allways thought of the 56 as a piece of shit among the 55 and the 57 but it turned out to be just as cool as the 55 and the 57 . I`ve owned a 55 2 door sedan for 12 years and it has allways been a dreamcar for me, from : twolane blacktop & the movie with Harrison Ford I`ve forgotten the english name for that flick ( siste natten med gjengen). But the 56 turns out to be no second car for my 55, heres a simple advice : dont let your 57 Chevy 1/25 glue-sets blur your vision for the 55 and the 56 models they are just as pretty & cool ! ADIOS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comments: I have always wanted to own a 55 Chevy two door hardtop, this coming year maybe the turning point in my life when I may finally get my hands on one. It would have a 357 small block with a bench seat and maybe crager alloy's. I'm still dreaming !!!! over here in the U.K. it's difficult to find a good example but who knows P.S. Great club.

I guess now that there is a picture of my car, I need to do a write-up and explain what a 210 prototype is. Maybe even have a "before" and "during" picture to go along with the finished picture currently running.

I have emailed person after person hoping to find someone in a car club to recommend a place. I go to the local cruise night spot near where I live and ask around but nothing yet. Also, I want to find some of those classic car steering wheel turners that people used to put on their steering wheel to help them steer. I saw some that had Betty Boop in them and they were so cute!!!!!!! If anyone can help me with either of these please email me! Thankyou! my64heart@hotmail.com

Comments: Now a member of Karson Kruzers. Formally a member of Cruisin Fifties, South Bay (lived in Torrance). I have a friend with a 57 Chevy looking to convert to power steering. Heard somewhere of a Buick Rack & Pinion that fits "bolts on" a 57 Chevy. Thinks it may have been a Buick Electra. Would appreciate any info you could provide. I have a 40 Ford myself and have been into rodding for many years. Thanks

Comments: We have a 1956 Bel Air 2-door post. I am doing an early 60's mild custom, and I am looking for a few bolt on custom pieces such as a tubular grill & a "Hollywood Wolf Whistle." (reasonably priced) This really is a kool site!!!!

Comments: These Chevy's are great !!!! I get more THUMBS UP when I drive around in my '55 Belair than when we drive my brothers Corvette. I will be back to visit this COOL site. Maybe next time I'll have a picture to present.

Comments: Hello from Norway! Great site with lots of beautiful cars. I love all kinds of Chevys, and would like to have a classic Chevy one day. At present I have a '72 Camaro which you can look at on my homepage. My brother has a '56 Corvette and a '55 Bel Air (In parts). He is actually a member of LACCC because he lived i LA for a year some years ago. If anyone wants to contact my brother, Tom Roy Simenstad, you can do så by my email.
