The L.A. Classic Chevy Club is a non-profit club for owners and aficionados of 1955-56-57 Chevrolet cars, trucks, Corvettes and Nomads. It is a chapter of Eckler's Chevy Classics Club (Formerly known as Bowtie Chevys and CCI) - however membership in this organization is not a requirement for membership in the L.A. Classic Chevy Club. We are based in Los Angeles, Calif., but have members from throughout the United States, as well as Canada, Norway and Australia. We welcome cars in all states of restoration, stock or modified, from daily drivers to trailered show cars. All we ask is that members share an interest in these truly classic Chevrolets.

The L.A. Classic Chevy Club meets monthly (except December) on the SECOND Sunday from 4:00-6:00 PM at Billy's Deli, 5160 West 190th Street, in Torrance. SW corner of Anza and 190th Street. There is no admission fee or membership requirement to drop in on these meetings. See more details at the bottom of this page.

Why become a member?

  • Members not only share an interest in these cars but also advice on restoration and modification of the cars.
  • Receiving the club newsletter - the Classic Hotline - with plenty of valuable information. This includes not only Club events and information, but restoration and service info, memorabilia, event reports and other interesting and useful data. The Classic Hotline has won the Bow Tie Chevy Association annual newsletter award and Old Cars Weekly Golden Quill Award.
  • Discounts from selected suppliers of parts and services - available to L.A. Classic Chevy Club members only. See below for information.
  • Club events. We average one event per month. This includes tours to suppliers and points of interest in Southern California, car shows, cruises, and swap meets.
  • An opportunity to buy and sell parts and cars.

Membership dues

Primary members: $25.00 per year
Immediate family members living at same address: $5.00 each
Non-US members (payable in US Dollars only): Canadian members add $10.00; all others add $15.00.

Club Discount Program

Members of the L.A. Classic Chevy Club can receive discounts from the following suppliers. To qualify for the discount you will need to give them your name and membership information, plus any other information they may require:

  • C.A.R.S. - 10% from listed prices
  • C&P: 10% from listed prices
  • Drake Restoration: 15% on parts and supplies in stock
  • Vernes Chrome and Powder Coating: Preferential pricing and service

Advertising Policy

We welcome advertising for cars, parts and services. There is no charge for advertisements placed by L.A. Classic Chevy Club members. Others (non-members) may place ads in our newsletter and web site for $15.00 per three line advertisement (not to exceed 25 words) per month, payable in advance.

Club Meetings

LACCC Club meetings are held on the SECOND SUNDAY of the month. NO meetings or activities in December. Time: 4 pm SHARP till 6 pm. Current location: Billy's Deli, 5160 W. 190th Street, Torrance. SW corner of Anza and 190th Street. From 405 Southbound take Inglewood Avenue or Hawthorne Boulevard south to 190th and go west.
